Ep. 1 - Pilot

In That Odious Beast, Gaming, Jonathan Nielson and Logan Johnson talk about what they're playing, what games they're looking forward to, and potential red flags they see in the industry. They bring an acceptable amount of wit, amiable natures, and a skeptical attitude toward 'Gamer Culture' as a whole.

Jonathan makes a big reveal about his true feelings for Shadow of the Colossus;
Logan talks about accidentally getting into a relationship in Persona 5;
Jonathan hypes about PUBG's new map, Vikendi;
Logan plays Smash Bros. after a long hiatus from the franchise;

Ep. 7 - Bethesda Hipster

That Odious Beast, Gaming  is a show about video games, the fans who play them, and the people who make them. This week, it's also about making friends who love a game you've never played, and feeling a moderate amount of pressure to try it out. In this episode: Logan starts in on Skyrim , just a few short years after its release in 2011; Jonathan struggles to find joy in the challenging and time consuming final levels of Wargroove; We spend entirely too much time fearing the old blood; Jonathan talks about some of the improvements (and backsteps) that  Apex Legends  brings to the Battle Royale genre, and Logan ruminates on his ineptitude for shooters; We discuss the many rounds of layoffs, including the particularly gruesome decisions made by Activision executives in recent weeks.
